The project has three unique aspects: a heritage villa, premium serviced apartments and retail outlets on the ground floor. The ground-floor retail space is proposed to be an extension of existing premium serviced apartment facilities. The first phase of construction involves constructing two sky scrapers and a pedestrian boulevard. The sky scrapers are to connect a new Singapore River Walk to the existing River Walk. The pedestrian boulevard will link Orchard Road to the existing Singapore Riverside. Podium work and associated works are also underway for the proposed fifth and final storey of the complex.
The second phase of construction involves the erection of a series of high quality luxury residential apartment buildings. The architect has designed prefabricated elements that will provide the necessary framework and skeleton for all the buildings. These consist of a crane tower and crane support system, connecting staircases, linked ramps and a secured roof deck. Assembling components of this nature is extremely efficient and reduces time-to-market considerably. It also minimizes disruption of the local construction site and consequently, makes the avenue south residence balance unit in Singapore available for rent sooner than expected.
The third and last phase of the project involves the erection of a single skyscraper and a freight lift. This is the section that will add to the height of the building and will enable it to connect with the Singapore River Walk. The elevated pedestrian walkway will link the residential wing of the development to the arterial road. The tallest prefabricated buildings in Singapore-the skyline ofridges-are proposed to be constructed in this section of the project. The development is scheduled for completion in early 2021.
Located north of Geylang pier, in the northern part of the island, De Zo barrong is an upcoming mixed-use commercial and residential estate development. A proposed mixed-use commercial property development and a ground-breaking tower clock tower are part of this project. A planned mixed-use commercial and residential project with retail space, hotel, apartments, and premium lofts are part of the proposed project of this residential area of Singapore. The tallest prefabricated skyscraper in the world is expected to be constructed in this area of Singapore.
The project of the lofted-office tower will feature two distinctive pavilions. One of these pavilions will be located at the north end of the avenue and will comprise of around 1500m2 of highly facilitated office space. This will be mainly comprised of premium office space to be leased out to high-net-worth individuals. The other pavilion is intended to be located at the south end of the same avenue and will consist of around 300m2 of highly facilitated office space. Both pavilions are set to come up at a later stage of construction of the Singapore Apartments in Furniture Park, Singapore.
There is also a plan to construct an eight-story apartment block on the vacant land of the former Dioscuro Plaza. The developer is planning to develop this project as an independent unit and has approached the Offsite Constructor for the purpose. The overall cost of this project is estimated at approximately USD Rs 32 million.
Finally, there is another major project under construction at the south end of the avenue – a new pedestrian tunnel called the temburong bridge. The main aim of this new pedestrian tunnel is to improve traffic flow across the commercial and residential property of Ang Moi Estate. The tunnel is expected to reduce travel time between the areas by a minimum of 15 minutes and to make the journey from Ang Moi Estate to Ang Moi Road easier. The planned developments of Ang Moi Estate and Temburong Bridge will completely transform the look of Ang Moi Estate into a modern lifestyle neighborhood.
